Ok so im 26 weeks with my first little boy. I just dont get this. After my 20 week ultrasound my dr said i wont be getting another one. What!!!!! im so upset about this. Am i the only one??!!

You can arrange private ones, 3d, but you have to pay, cost varies.

I'm gettin another at 36weeks and got lucky at 29weeks. The ultrasound tech forgot some stuff. I guess it all depends on Ur doc or midwife.

Ohhh thank u atleast i dont feel jipped!! i guess ill have to invest in a 3d or see if somewhere here they do ultrasounds. I am very excited im so far now. Im just eager to see my little man in there.  What if changed sex and we never knew because i never got anothet ultrasound!! :0)

I had a 3d one at 16 weeks. It was a little under 100. Probably going to do another around 30 weeks. My dr only does 2 ultrasounds unless there's a problem.

I onli had 2 aswell one at 13 weeks for dating scan and another at 20 weeks im now 26 weeks 5 days and me n bf have invesred in a 3d scan on 4th august(ill be 28 weeks 3 days) to see how our girl doin and to also double chek sex and to see who she gna take after <3

I lucked up with a great doctor. I've had countless ultrasounds because my doctor office is apart of a teaching hostpital .

I have a lot of ultrasounds bit than again i had gastational diabetes.

I had one at 8, 18, and 28 weeks, all routine.  Then I had one at 32 weeks and one a week from 36-40 weeks because I'm over 35.  If you want  another one, just ask.  Most docs will do it as long as multiple u/s are covered by your insurance.

I had one at 12wks, 20wks and I am going to have one next wk at 28 wks and if I remember correctly one at 32 -38wks to check about how big he is before he delivery

I had one at like 10w for due date and then another one for anatomy like 17w. No more though so nope you are not being jipped

I've had quite a few ultrasounds and I'm getting another one in 4 weeks. I'm 23 weeks and 4 days now. I live in Florida. Where do you live?

My doc only does two as well. Sometimes 3. One when I found out, one for 20weeks, and one more of you reach 40weeks just the check on the baby. I just had and exttra one a couple day ago because I'm in the hospital with severe kidney stones and with all the drugs I'm on they wanted to double check and my baby is doing fine . I'm 15weeks.

My doctor is the same said I won't get another. Cheap bastard he just retired so now i have an awesome midwife. But I think I will go to a 3d to see my little baby girl real quick and get a picture cause my doctor didn't give me one I got a dvd though so that's cool.

I live in las vegas. Im very bummed i want to see him as often as possible. I asked the dr o when will i get another ultra sound she said i wont. Grrr i have goid ins but i guess its the way it is. Ill have to get a 3d. Itsjust expensive :0x but i know worth it. I got one at 10w 14w abd 19w im now 26 and a little sad grr. Thanks guys :0)

I've had 5 I'm not high risk I'm 34 weeks I believe I'll have one more before I deliver as well it really depends on your doctor and their policies I guess

I just had my 2nd one a week ago (I am 20w) and they told me that was it. After that only heartbeat and measurements. I was kind of disappointed too. It is so cool to see them move
