how to ask my mil

ok so I am 15 weeks my mom and two sisters are planning a huge baby shower for me but my mil hasn't said if she would be making me one should I ask if she wants part in the one my family is planning? I am so confused.

Ask her if she'll help you pick something out for the party. You don't want to exclude her. Trust me you'll never hear the end of it. Just tell her "my mom and I would love to have your help/opinion on this cake!"
She'd probably be hurt that you started planning without her so just include her as much as you can.

thanks I really hope it works plus my family has been asking so they can put the hostess name including her:-( even though its till January.
