Blood pressure meds
« on: November 22, 2012, 01:57:33 pm »
I've been on meds for blood pressure since a week after dd was born.  Doc said I can come off them when bp is consistently at 110 or lower.  It's been falling all week, and today it's at 99/55 with a heart rate off 53.  Has anyone gone off bp meds? Do they slowly wean you off them or stop cold turkey? I am super dizzy.

Birthspring, what were you on? I'm on Nifedical (procardia) 30 mg once a day.  Are you off yours now? Loving the vacation posts!

The only thing I know is lowering the dose helps your body regulate its blood pressure on its own without the medicine.
